Peter Minuit Chapter, NSDAR, has over 100 members. Meeting activities are focused on the three objectives of the NSDAR including historic preservation, promotion of education, and patriotic endeavor. The chapter is known nationally for the enthusiasm and diversity of its membership. We invite speakers to our meetings to deepen our knowledge of American history and heritage and the work of our National Society. Membership Eligibility

Any woman is eligible for membership, who is no less than eighteen years of age and can prove lineal, bloodline descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence. More information can be found on the Become a Member page.

How to get involved

We welcome all women with American Revolutionary War Patriot ancestry to join our chapter. Please contact the Peter Minuit Chapter, NSDAR, to learn more about meetings or how to join. In addition to monthly meetings, our chapter offers diverse activities, which are scheduled primarily on weeknights and weekends. Members' children, families, and guests are encouraged to join in these activities and get involved in our community.
